Week of October 1 - Seven PDX and Scattering

Hi CG Peeps, This is an exciting week, we have the opportunity to gather with other believers and pray and fast for our city in the Seven PDX nightly meetings in addition to our collective scattering efforts. There are a couple of options where you can go with others from Community Group, but even if those nights don't work for you, please try to attend at least one of the seven events. Here's a link to the website with details: www.sevenpdx.org Joellen and I thought it'd be fun for the ladies to gather and watch the kids together while the men attend the Seven PDX meeting and then another night the ladies can go to a meeting together later in the week while the guys stay home with our kids. Here's the nights we thought that would best work for that: Wednesday night - Ladies @ Joellen & Mark's home to watch kids, have potluck dinner while men go to Imago Dei (where Chuck is speaking). Meet at 6:00 @ Armstrong Home 12968 SW Mayview Way, guys can grab a quick bite to eat and head out to Imago (meeting starts at 7pm). Let's do grilled cheese sandwiches & soup - please post if you'll be attending and what you plan to bring. Thursday night - Ladies let's attend the Seven meeting at Beaverton Foursquare church at 7pm. Please post a comment if you plan to attend on Thursday and we can coordinate carpooling or where we'll meet before hand.
